Free and ticketed events

MPAC’s Family Fiesta is back! Over the July school holidays we invite children 0–12 and their families to step into the forest and discover a world of free and low cost events.

Explore ancient trees, fungi and the hidden micro-world beneath your feet, and see how everything in the forest is connected. Artists, theatre-makers, musicians and dancers team up with Monash University scientists to show you just how wondrously beautiful and essential these ecosystems are.

Dream Swamp takes centre stage with enchanting dance-theatre and puppetry by Melanie Lane; a special concert of Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf; and our David Li Sound Gallery premieres the immersive play world, Beneath Our Feet, where artists and Monash soil scientists help children shrink into a microbial wonderland of soil.

All this and much, much more. Stay tuned for the full program of events soon.
