Nacht II

The Ian Potter Centre for Performing Arts

$20 - $45

Launching the MPAC 2026 Sound Gallery Series with a blaze of sound and immersive visuals, Nacht II invites audiences into a 21st-century ritual that transforms our experience of the universe through song.

Nacht II is a musical project where multiple voices converse—from the lyrical to the guttural—layered with electronic music that is as abrasive as it is atmospheric. Minimal, monochromatic generative images are projected onto a large screen, completing this immersive audio-visual world.

A synesthetic and contemplative experience, Nacht II begins like an initiation ritual and gradually unfolds into a physical, sensory journey. The environment, landscape and elemental forces become an inexhaustible source of inspiration—an extension of creativity itself.

Powered by the David Li Sound Gallery’s immersive audio technology, Nacht II is a phantasmagorical journey in constant evolution. Sound, bodies, light and environment interact to shape an unpredictable universe. At its heart, the singer’s voice rises to crystallize a new, living and intentional form: The Universe of Nacht II.
